Rediscovering Yourself: Learning to Embrace Imperfections

Learning to Love the Unpolished Me:

In this journey, I often catch myself in the act of self-criticism, trying to present a picture-perfect version of myself. It’s like trying to filter the realness out of my life; but why is it so hard for us to remember at times that imperfections are what make us relatable and genuine?

I have to admit that I’ve sometimes hidden away from the world, afraid of judgment and rejection. It’s like putting up an invisibility cloak to shield myself. But what have I learned? We all wear our type of invisibility cloaks, and it’s time to take them off and be seen to align with where we are meant to be. Until we do, we will always feel like something is missing.

Navigating the Fear of Burnout:

Change can be exhausting, and I’ve feared burning out on this journey. Doing too much or feeling like I’m not doing enough creates a tug-of-war. The key? Regular pit stops to check in with my core and recalibrate to be in alignment with her.

Embracing the Power of Being Real:

Amidst the fear of judgment, I’ve discovered the superpower of authenticity. Turns out, having an opinion is what makes us human. So, why fear it? Everyone has one but the more I travel on this healing journey be our genuine selves and celebrate the beautifully messy journey we’re all on.

Join me in this down-to-earth exploration – because life’s too short for β€œfiltered” versions of our personalities. Let’s embrace the real, imperfect, and utterly human journey together.

I do love a good face filter though, lol. 😊
